Askari issued a congratulatory message on international Red Cross and Red
Crescent day, 8 May. His message reads as follows:
Thankfully
I am delighted to celebrate international Red Cross and Red Crescent day 2021 which coincides with the holy month of
Ramadan together with you. I would like to extend my most sincere
congratulations to volunteers, relief workers, family of health workers who
died of Covid-19, IRCS' staff and especially to the diligent employees of Medical
Procurement Organization on this very special day.
