In a joint meeting between Dr. Mohammadreza Shanehsaz, CEO of the Medical Procurement Organization, and Dr. Seyed Mehdi Hasheminejad, CEO of the Razavi Institute for Pharmaceutical Services, both parties underscored the importance of expanding bilateral cooperation across various domains, including the production, supply, and distribution of pharmaceuticals and medical equipment, as well as imports and medicinal plants.
According to the Public Relations and International Affairs Department of the Medical Procurement Organization, the meeting was convened with the aim of enhancing interactions and leveraging the capacities of the organization’s affiliated companies. Both sides stressed the necessity of comprehensive collaboration across these key sectors.
Dr. Shanehsaz highlighted the significance of constructive engagement for the advancement and improvement of the health sector, stating: “Collaboration between the Medical Procurement Organization and the Razavi Institute for Pharmaceutical Services can contribute to enhancing the quality of pharmaceutical and medical services nationwide.”
Dr. Hasheminejad, while expressing his appreciation for this cooperative approach, emphasized the need for coordinated planning to fully utilize the existing capacities of the organization’s subsidiaries. He added, “Joint efforts can play a pivotal role in elevating the standard of pharmaceutical and medical services throughout the country.”
