The Medical Equipment Division of the Red Crescent’s Medical Procurement Organization has achieved a remarkable 67% increase in sales by the end of September 2025 compared to the same period last year. This growth reflects the division’s strengthened position as a trusted and reputable supplier of therapeutic equipment in Iran.
According to the Public Relations and International Affairs Unit of the
Medical Procurement Organization, the division’s continued efforts to enhance
service quality and expand product diversity have led to this significant sales
milestone. Based at the Red Crescent’s specialized pharmacy, the unit recorded
a 67% year-over-year increase in sales by the end of Shahrivar 1404 (September
2025), signaling a stable and positive trajectory in the development of its
specialized operations.
Expanding access to essential medical equipment has been a core priority
for the organization. The availability of diverse and high-quality therapeutic
items—including colostomy bags, wound care tools, diabetes and burn-related
equipment, and specialized chemotherapy injection products—has played a key
role in driving this growth. Additionally, the expansion of homecare services
and the provision of auxiliary medical supplies such as gloves, gauze, adhesive
tapes, specialized sprays, and home health monitoring devices (e.g., blood
pressure monitors, thermometers, and blood glucose testers) have significantly
boosted patient and healthcare provider satisfaction.
To better meet the healthcare needs of the community, the unit operates
daily from Saturday to Wednesday, 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM, and on Thursdays until
4:00 PM. Through its wide range of products and specialized services, it
continues to play a vital role in improving public health indicators
nationwide.
