As part of efforts to strengthen regional collaboration in the fields of health and pharmaceuticals, a delegation from the Iraqi Ministry of Interior visited Soha Pharmaceutical Company, affiliated with the Medical Procurement Organization, to explore avenues for joint cooperation.
According to the Public Relations and
International Affairs Unit of the Medical Procurement Organization, on Friday,
November 7, 2025, a delegation of health officials from the Iraqi Ministry of
Interior visited the premises of Soha Pharmaceutical Company. During the visit,
the delegation was introduced to the company’s production capabilities,
technical infrastructure, and scientific achievements, while discussions
focused on potential cooperation in areas such as pharmaceutical exports,
contract manufacturing, and technology transfer.
Dr. Seyed Saeed Mirhosseinian, Managing
Director of Soha Pharmaceutical Company, presented an overview of the company’s
specialized capabilities and quality standards, affirming Soha’s readiness to
expand pharmaceutical collaboration with Iraq.
Members of the Iraqi delegation expressed
satisfaction with the quality of Soha’s products and manufacturing processes,
describing the company as a key potential contributor to Iraq’s pharmaceutical
supply chain. They also emphasized their interest in strengthening bilateral
cooperation in the pharmaceutical sector.
