32% Growth in Sales of Red Crescent Medical Equipment in November
The Medical Equipment Unit located at the Red Crescent Specialized and Single-Prescription Pharmacy (Taleghani Street) experienced a 32% increase in sales in November 2025 compared to October. By offering specialized and essential products, this unit plays a significant role in promoting public health and facilitating patient access to medical equipment.

According to the Public Relations and International Affairs Unit of the Medical Procurement Organization, the Medical Equipment Unit at the Red Crescent Specialized and Single-Prescription Pharmacy has provided products such as oxygen concentrators, chemotherapy pumps, ostomy bags, antibacterial dressings, and other specialized equipment, thereby making an effective contribution to meeting patient needs.

Expanding the provision of medical equipment required by patients—including colostomy bags, wound care tools, diabetes and burn-related equipment, as well as specialized chemotherapy injection products—has been one of the Organization’s key programs. In addition, the expansion of homecare services and the supply of auxiliary medical items such as gloves, gauze, adhesive tapes, specialized sprays, and home health monitoring devices including blood pressure monitors, thermometers, and blood glucose testers has increased patient and healthcare center satisfaction.

In line with its overarching policies, the Medical Procurement Organization prioritizes the supply of high-quality and affordable products for all segments of society, placing respect and care for patients and consumers at the core of its activities.

To better respond to the community’s medical needs, this unit operates daily from Saturday to Wednesday between 7:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m., and on Thursdays until 4:00 p.m. By offering a wide range of products and specialized services, it plays a key role in improving public health indicators.
