Coordination Meeting of the MPO’s General Assembly Held, Focusing on the Review of the Financial Audit Report for the Fiscal Year 1404 (March 2025 – March 2026)
A coordination meeting for the Ordinary Annual General Assembly of the Medical Procurement Organization was held on Saturday, July 18, 2026, chaired by Dr. MohammadReza Shanesaz, the Managing Director of the Organization, and attended by members of the Board of Directors, senior headquarters managers, representatives of the Iranian Red Crescent Society, and the Managing Directors of subsidiary companies. The session was convened to present and review the draft audit report for the fiscal year ending on March 20, 2026.

According to the Public Relations and International Affairs Unit of the Medical Procurement Organization, the meeting commenced with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, followed by the presentation of the report by the statutory inspector and independent auditor regarding the Organization’s financial performance in the fiscal year 1404 (March 2025 – March 2026). Subsequently, the report on the activities and performance of the Organization’s Board of Directors for the said fiscal year, as well as the latest actions taken concerning the obligations approved by the General Assembly for the fiscal year 1403 (March 2024 – March 2025), were reviewed and analyzed.

During the session, attendees meticulously examined the financial reports and emphasized the need to establish a transparent, comprehensive, and well-documented framework to ensure the optimal presentation of these reports to the Organization’s General Assembly. This meeting was held as part of the preparatory process for the Annual General Assembly, with the aim of enhancing the accuracy and transparency of financial information.

 Representatives of the Iranian Red Crescent Society also attended the meeting and, by offering their analytical insights, raised key points pertaining to the financial reports and legal requirements, while stressing the full observance of auditing standards.

Throughout various segments of the gathering, topics such as the financial status of subsidiary companies, the process of reviewing audit reports, necessary coordination for completing legal documentation, and the enhancement of transparency in financial reporting were discussed and deliberated upon.
