With the aim of honoring clients and improving the quality of pharmaceutical services, the Red Crescent Medical Procurement Organization has facilitated the process of obtaining specialized medications for special patients through the 41651 response system, the "Online Electronic Prescription Registration" system, the active presence of "Patient Assistants," and the stationing of basic and supplementary insurance representatives in the Central and Tehranpars pharmacies.
According to a report by the Public
Relations and International Affairs Unit of the Medical Procurement
Organization, this organization, with the goal of reducing unnecessary travel
and improving the patient experience, continuously provides special services in
its selected pharmacies. These services are offered to clients in two main
categories so that patients can obtain their needed medications with minimal
concern.
In the non-in-person section, the 41651
telephone system serves as a reliable reference, providing accurate and
up-to-date information on the stock of specialized and super-specialized
medications at the 24-hour Central Pharmacy (Taleghani) and Pharmacy No. 2
(Tehranpars). Citizens can call this number before making an in-person visit to
confirm the availability of their medication and prevent futile trips. The
organization has also made the "Online Electronic Prescription
Registration" system available to patients at https://daru.mpo-helal.org
so that they can register their prescriptions and track the medication
preparation process online without the need for a physical presence at the
pharmacy or waiting in long queues.
In the in-person services section, in
addition to the pharmacy staff on site, "Patient Assistants" are also
present in the pharmacies. These assistants are tasked with guiding clients
through the pharmacy environment with precise direction and by facilitating the
service receipt process. The presence of these assistants, especially for
elderly patients and persons with disabilities, plays a prominent role in
optimizing the medication delivery process and reducing waiting time.
Furthermore, to facilitate client access to services, the necessary space has
been made available to basic and supplementary insurance representatives so
that people have less back-and-forth, pay lower costs, spend less time, and
experience less traffic.
It is worth noting that, in addition to
these services, the space of the organization's super-specialized,
single-prescription pharmacy has been optimized through redesign and major
renovation for more favorable reception of clients and the provision of more
specialized services, so that dear fellow citizens may benefit from Red
Crescent services in a more suitable environment.
