Through this digital platform, patients can register their prescriptions without needing to be physically present at the pharmacy or wait in long lines, and can track the medication preparation process online.
According to the Public Relations and International Affairs Unit of the
Medical Procurement Organization, the launch of this system is an effective
step toward improving the quality of pharmaceutical services and optimizing the
time management of visitors.
In recent years, the organization's efforts have consistently focused on
reducing crowding at the 24-Hour Central Pharmacy and increasing patient
satisfaction. Accordingly, with the system now operational, the medication
collection process has been facilitated, and patients can upload their
electronic prescription information by visiting https://daru.mpo-helal.org.
This smart platform allows patients to track the status of their request
in real time, regardless of time and location constraints, and to visit the
pharmacy to collect their medication only after the preparation stages are
finalized and confirmation is received. In addition to preventing wasted time
for patients, this measure plays an important role in reducing in-person visit
traffic and improving public health.
The request registration process is as follows:
- Entering the system and selecting the "Electronic
Prescription Order Registration" option
- Completing patient information and prescription details,
along with providing a valid contact number
- Automatically receiving an electronic appointment after
completing the form
- Prompt review of the prescription by pharmacy experts
- Notification of the review result (approval or need for
correction) within a maximum of one hour
- Issuance of a preliminary invoice including medication items
and the payable amount
- Patient confirmation of the invoice and online payment
- Commencement of the medication preparation process
immediately after payment
- Delivery of medication at the counter at the designated time,
with no need to wait
- Ability to monitor the request online from the moment of
registration to medication delivery
Among the advantages of this system is informing the patient during
request registration; thus, if the patient's file is inactive, the request is
submitted before the designated time, the medication is a special order (which
requires visiting the service desk of the Food and Drug Organization), or the
basic insurance systems experience a disruption, the registration process is
halted with a guidance message, and the patient, while being informed of the
possible issue, receives the necessary guidance.
This smart initiative plays a key role, especially for patients who have
a continuous need for rare and specialized medications, in managing time,
reducing waiting-related stress, and eliminating unnecessary travel.
Additionally, to familiarize users with the system environment as quickly as

and the instructional video directly, and there will no longer be any need to
waste time on traditional processes.
