MPO’s Managing Director, Dr.Alireza Askari, announced the arrival of SMA medicine shipment to the country

to the report issued by MPO’s public relations and international affairs unit, Dr. Askari went on and siad, despite
sanctions on Iran, Spinraza medicine which is used for the treatment of spinal
muscular atrophy (SMA) patients has been imported By MPO’s Sohakish Commercial
Co. into the country and soon will be available to patients under the
supervision of the Iranian Ministry of Health.
Dr. Askari added that, we hope to reduce the suffering of patients and
improve their quality of life.
