Secretary General of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, Mr.Bekele Geleta together with Director of Middle East and North Africa (MENA) zone office of the International Federation, Dr.Bensiali paid a visit to Medical Procurement Organization (M.P.O) Monday 25 July 2011.
As per Public Relations of M.P.O, appreciating the authorities of International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies in this Organization, Dr. Fardin Balouchi, Managing Director of this organization expressed hope that the said authorities have opportunities to get acquaintance with capabilities of the Iranian Red Crescent Societies (IRCS) during their stay in Iran.
Dr. Balouchi also stated that M.P.O is including 5 affiliated companies and 1800 staffs in which the income collected from economic activities of the said organization would be submitted to IRCS in order to be used for humanitarian activities.
In fine the Managing Director of M.P.O called for reflection of the IRCS and new vision of National Society s president among International Assemblies.
"Constructive Competition could lead to development of any association" Secretary General of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Society, Mr.Bekele Geleta said in the course of this meeting . Therefore, as there is not any serious competitor for M.P.O within the country, the other countries are being invited to invest and activate in Iran to turn this competition in to constructiveness .
He also went on to say that through new vision governing IRCS, the youth are pioneer in IRCS and this is a sign for innovation.
