MPO's managining director, Dr. Alireza Askari said that 80% of Covid-19 vaccines imported to Iran was done by the Iranian Red Crescent Society

an exclusive interview with Iran Press News Agency on Saturday, Dr. Askari said that IRCS started importing vaccines in May 2021 and has so far managed to import more than 30m doses to the country .
Dr. Askari highlighted that in addition to the imports of Covid-19 vaccines, the organization has been endeavoring for timely supply of medical items required by Covid-19 patients.
